Chilling... and Kalamansi

EDIT: Someone got to my site by searching for "madara yaoi videos"... MADARA watch out!! 変態やろーがいるぞ!

Yay~ the semester is over, but placement isn't. However, it got cancelled this morning. My alarm rang to wake me up at 6:45am, and right then, I get a text message asking if I've already left the house. Placement has been cancelled for today :D So my alarm got turned off, and sleepy hamster went back into the blissful warmth which the cocoon of double blankets provided :D

How cold has it become all of a sudden! It's been putting me off getting up early.

Orange flower. At least I think it's orange flower. I don't actually know, it's this bush that's right outside my house and it smells wonderful. AND I've finally figured out what tree we have at the back. The fruits look like lime, all green on the outside, but when you cut it open, it's orange and extremely sour inside. It's a kalamansi tree!

A month or so ago, I had a cake from Azuma. It was also the time when blogger decided to delete my entry about this cake, so I never got a chance to reblog about it. This was a new cake that I've never seen before at Azuma, and they called it the Kalamansi chocolate cake.

From Weeks 17-20, 2011
Inside was a ball of kalamansi flavored sponge centre, surrounded by chocolate mousse and topped with kalamansi slices that have been slightly charred to caramlise. Really nice. I don't usually like orange flavored stuff, but orange and chocolate goes so well together, and it's a new cake~ gotta try it :D

I haven't seen it again since though, it must be quite hard to make.

I prefer flowers that aren't fully bloomed... they somehow look nicer.

Monday was my friend's (also classmate) birthday, and we dug out old memories and photos to print out and gave her a kind of scrapbook. E bought a black notebook and cut out corners to make it into a photo album, and we all wrote inside with a silver pen~ it was a nice 'chilling' (literally) out session of 'scrapbooking', out in Circular Quay at a cafe called East Bank, being whipped mercilessly frozen by the cutting wind.

Also had yum cha at the Big 8 Chinese Restaurant upstairs of Market City... which was pretty good actually.

From Weeks 21-25, 2011
They had nice desserts :D Taro coconut milk jelly, plus mango sago which had real fruit inside...

Then I had to rush off to SBS for an "interview", though it was more "here's a script, let's head down to the recording studio, read it into the mic while we record you". That was interesting.

Took a stroll at the Rocks and enjoyed the view from the Observatory hill, played around with some photo poses, and then came back down to have pancake~

From Weeks 21-25, 2011
Ordered a Monte Cristo, a creamy chicken and mushroom crepe, and a blackberry heaven.

From Weeks 21-25, 2011
Since we weren't really that hungry, we ordered 3 dishes to share amongst 4, which is really easy because all the dishes came in 2's, so all we had to do was cut each item into halves :D Plus, the bill came up to $10 per person, which is really cheap for dinner out at Circular Quay.

Now I gotta write a script... =( icie is going to Taiwan on Saturday... I feel like I haven't had a holiday in ages...
